Goal setting is just the beginning of the achievement journey. Acting on and evaluating those goals is what brings meaning and results.

Everyone talks about creating goals, but often these goals are impromptu New Year’s resolutions, empty promises, or simply good intentions without any thought or planning.

Together, we will explore the process of defining exactly what you want and then hone in on how to act on and evaluate your goals so they become an actuality in your life. And the key difference? Accountability.

What Is Accountability?

When it comes to goal setting, accountability means being held responsible for the achievement of your goals. The word sometimes has a negative connotation, as if accountability implies blame or judgment. However, when seen as a way of tracking success, accountability can create a sense of ownership and pride that often leads to great triumph, enhancing your ability to achieve your desired outcomes.

Why Accountability Works

When you hold yourself accountable to your goals, you are communicating to the universe (and to yourself) that the goal is a priority—it’s not just something that may or may not get done. If you don’t share your goals in some way, you aren’t truly committing to them. It’s too easy to give up because it’s like they never really existed. Plan Act Evaluate your goals is designed to give you this accountability.

Clive will work with participants to plan, act and evaluate their goals in 2019. 

Each month in 2019 you will:

  • Work through goal setting and accountability sessions with Clive via Group Zoom Sessions.

  • Participate with Clive and other group members in activities via a Facebook Group and Challenge Hub to get clarity around and share your goals.

  • How to Use Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely (SMART) goals

  • How to Overcome procrastination and remove distractions

  • Why Rewards and Success are important

  • How to Set realistic deadlines

  • The four P’s of Positive, Personal, Possible and Prioritised

  • How to Track your progress and manage time

  • How to Motivate yourself by remembering success and building on your successes

Each month Clive will lead two group sessions, with homework to keep you on track for Planning, Acting and Evaluating your goals in 2019.
